Past Promotions/Contests:
What's a Great Tip for Tax Planning and Easter?
Contest closed on April 25, 2011 and the winner was notified.
The winner is Lynwood Keough of LKP Printing. Congratulations Lynwood! And the answer ???? "Don’t put all your eggs in one basket!"
A Holiday Contest! The Best WORST Christmas Gift Ever
Contest closed on December 15th and winners were notified December 17th!
Well, it appears that a few of our clients have received some “not so great” gifts over the years. There were lots of “bad” entries but the team sifted thru them to come up with the two they felt were the worst.
Congratulations to Linda Shutt who received a Window Squeegie from her family one year. She had just finished a rough year in real estate and the family thought maybe she could head into the city and maybe pick up some cash cleaning car windows! Hopefully the $100 prize will allow her to bury the trauma of this gift.
A close runner-up, taking home $50 for her grief, is Wendy Wignall. After being forced to close her eyes (as the gift was said to be “too big” to wrap) while the family scurried about, anticipation was definitely building. At the count of 3, she opened her eyes only to find the dreaded….vacuum! Not only was it a house-work based gift, vacuuming is by far and away Wendy’s least favourite activity!
Hopefully you can share these stories with your families to perhaps help prevent that “worst gift ever award”!
THE TRICK IS TO FIND THE MAN IN THE COFFEE BEANS:
This is bizarre - after you find the guy – it’s so obvious.
Once you find him – it’s embarrassing, and you think,
‘Why didn’t I see him immediately?’

Doctors have concluded that if you find the man in the coffee beans in 3 seconds, the right half of your brain is better developed than most people. If you find the man between 3 seconds and 1 minute, the right half of the brain is developed normally. If you find the man between 1 minute and 3 minutes, then the right half of your brain is functioning slowly and you need to eat more protein. If you have not found the man after 3 minutes, the advice is to look for more of this type of exercise to make that part of the brain stronger!!!
And, yes, the man is really there!!
After you find the man in the beans forward this page to your brainy friends.
